The University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, recently honored its top-ranking admitted students for the 2026 academic year. This included three national top scorers who achieved a perfect 30/30 in the B00 block. These exceptional students were among the 20 celebrated at the opening ceremony on the morning of 5/9, each receiving a 100% tuition scholarship for their first year, valued at approximately 30-90 million VND.
This year, the university admitted over 2,760 students, with admission scores ranging from 18,25 to 27,95. The medicine major recorded the highest admission score. Notably, three of the 4 national top scorers for the B00 block (mathematics, chemistry, biology), who achieved a perfect 30/30, chose to pursue their studies at the university. Among these, Dinh Ngoc Hai Lam led in total admission points, benefiting from an additional 1,5 points earned from an IELTS score of 7.5 and an SAT score of 1390/1600.
