Viet Uc International School students admitted to prestigious universities

Dong Gia Nghi and Hoang Ngoc Anh Minh, 12th-grade students from VAS Riverside campus in Ho Chi Minh City, have been admitted to Trinity College Dublin and the National University of Singapore, thanks to their AAA results in the A Level exams.

Dong Gia Nghi received an admission offer from Trinity College Dublin on 11/3. It is a leading university in Ireland with a rich history, founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592. The university is renowned for its teaching and research quality, with many globally recognized departments and research institutes.

Gia Nghi stated she will pursue a bachelor's degree in management science and information systems studies, with enrollment expected in September this year. Admission requires AAA results in her final A Level exams, along with a minimum grade of C in mathematics.

Additionally, she received an admission offer and a 3,000 euros scholarship (approximately 92 million VND) from University College Dublin (UCD) for its computational social science program for the 2026–2027 academic year. This was based on achieving a minimum of ABB in her A Level exams, with the specific admission condition being a minimum of BBC in mathematics, physics, and computer science.

Both programs Gia Nghi was accepted into are in fields that demand strong analytical thinking, data processing, and the ability to approach complex systems.

To achieve these results, Gia Nghi established her career direction early on. She focused on her academic foundation, particularly preparing thoroughly in computational, data analysis, and social research fields.

Gia Nghi's classmate, Hoang Ngoc Anh Minh, received an admission notification from the National University of Singapore (NUS). NUS is ranked number one in Asia and 8th globally by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2026.

Anh Minh stated that NUS highly recognized her academic achievements, including A grades in all subjects, an IELTS score of 7,5, and various scientific research accomplishments, such as a silver award in StemCo Biology and a third-place prize in the city-level science research competition. Consequently, Anh Minh was admitted to the engineering program with a project management minor.

NUS is a globally renowned university with highly competitive admission standards and an innovative academic environment.

Viet Uc International School (VAS), established in 2004, is one of the largest bilingual school systems in Ho Chi Minh City. The school operates multiple campuses, offering multi-level education from kindergarten to high school. VAS combines the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training with the Cambridge Assessment International Education program. Students at the school achieve significant academic success in various examinations.
