Brooklyn Beckham recently unfollowed chef Gordon Ramsay on Instagram, a move that followed Ramsay's public comments describing him as "too obsessed with his wife." Page Six reported on 14/2 that Brooklyn's action came after a 13/2 interview with The Sun, where Ramsay characterized the Beckham family's ongoing rift as a challenging situation.
Ramsay, a longtime friend of former footballer David Beckham's family and a guest at Brooklyn's wedding, offered personal advice during the interview. He stated, "It's difficult when you're caught up in emotions, isn't it? They say love makes people blind. But remember where you come from, because there will be a time when your parents are no longer with you." The chef also suggested that Victoria had reason to feel hurt by recent tensions and affirmed David's enduring love for his son.

Despite being unfollowed, Ramsay stated he had maintained a good relationship with Brooklyn, having messaged him several times. Ramsay still follows Brooklyn on Instagram. A Daily Mail source indicated that Brooklyn and his wife are unwilling to accept negative comments, especially as their private lives are a subject of public discussion.
On 19/1, Brooklyn posted a criticism of his parents, alleging that Vic-Beck "tried to control his life," "spread countless lies to the media," and "ruined his and his wife's relationship." He also declared he did not want to reconcile, seeking peace with his wife in Los Angeles, USA. Earlier this month, Brooklyn removed tattoos of his parents and siblings.
Reports of "Beckham family discord" first emerged in 4/2025, when media outlets noted the young couple no longer appeared with or posted about Brooklyn's family. Late last year, it was reported that Brooklyn blocked his parents' Instagram accounts, requesting contact only through lawyers. The entire family was last seen together on Christmas 2024. Despite not meeting, David and Victoria Beckham frequently mention their son in posts, expressing affection while omitting their daughter-in-law.

Before the rift, the family regularly shared happy photos and videos.
Brooklyn Beckham, 27, born in England, is a prominent "nepo baby." He has pursued various careers, including modeling, barista, and photographer, and even launched a pop-up restaurant and cooking show, yet struggled to make a significant impact. He has faced criticism for "riding on his parents' coattails" and lacking talent. As a child, Brooklyn aimed to follow his father's football career, training for years before leaving the sport at 15. After marrying, he shifted his focus to his hot sauce company, Cloud23.
Gordon Ramsay, 60, is a world-renowned chef, owning numerous Michelin-starred restaurants and judging various culinary programs. He has received multiple accolades, including the Order of the British Empire in 2006 for his contributions to British cuisine, and was named the Most Influential Figure in the British Hotel and Restaurant Industry in 2009.
