Mai Ho garnered attention by attending the premiere of the film, produced by Tran Thanh, ahead of its Lunar New Year release. She chose an outfit featuring a halter-neck design, paired with a fur shawl. The director expressed his appreciation for Mai Ho's presence, inviting her to pose with the film's main cast, including Phao, LyLy, and Van Mai Huong.
The event marked a rare reunion for the two after 12 years apart. They dated in 2012 when Tran Thanh participated in the film Gia Su Nu Quai, produced by Mai Thu Huyen, Mai Ho's cousin. The actress once stated that Tran Thanh initially captivated her with his thoughtfulness, humor, and intelligence. However, after two years together, she realized they were unlikely to go the distance, believing they were "better suited as confidantes than lovers".
Following their breakup, Mai Ho and Tran Thanh maintained a friendship. The actress said that occasionally, when Tran Thanh needed someone to confide in and share with, she was always ready to listen. They sometimes reunited on shows hosted by Tran Thanh, such as "Thu Thach Nguoi Noi Tieng," a game show where Mai Ho showcased her dance skills.
In recent years, Mai Ho has gradually withdrawn from showbiz events, opting for a private life. In 2018, she married a businessman and lived in Germany for a period before returning to Vietnam. Currently, Mai Ho's family resides in Ha Noi to facilitate her husband's work. She has no plans to return to showbiz, preferring to focus on raising her children and studying business to support her husband's family.
Mai Ho, 39, once passed the entrance exam for the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. In the 2010s, she was in high demand for fashion photoshoots, music videos, and event appearances. In 2016, she produced a short musical film titled "Chuyen Cua Mai," inspired by her own life story. She also tested her skills on the show "On Gioi Cau Day Roi," drawing attention for her natural acting style.
