She wrote: "We are profoundly heartbroken to have lost our beloved son and brother. Despite this, we feel incredibly fortunate to have had Presley in our lives for the past 27 years. He had a sweet, beautiful, and loving soul, and now, he will always be loved forever. Our family is very proud of how he lived, present in this world with kindness and sincerity, daring to reveal his vulnerability."
The supermodel expressed gratitude for the love and support from friends, relatives, and even strangers who showed concern for her family. She concluded with a message to Presley: "Until we meet again, our sweet boy. Mom, Dad, and Kaia will always love you."

Shortly after Cindy Crawford's post, Kaia Gerber moved many by sharing a heartfelt letter to Presley, along with videos and photos of them as children. Kaia referred to him as "Prez", stating that no words or expressions could describe this pain. "You know how much I loved being your sister. It was always my favorite thing about myself, and it always will be," she wrote.
In the next passage, Kaia described her brother as a "great teacher," recalling their childhood. "Saying I love you was the easiest thing in the world because it required no effort. I was born loving you, and I will love you until I die. It never changed. Now, I am learning to love you without seeing you. How can I tell you something without picking up the phone? How can I be your sister in a world where I cannot touch you? I still do not know how," an excerpt from Kaia's letter read.
Kaia Gerber's post garnered over 1,2 million likes, with many celebrities offering condolences. In the comments section, star Paris Hilton expressed heartbreak over the Gerber family's loss, describing Presley as "one of a kind" and feeling fortunate to have known him. Supermodel Cara Delevingne stated she would always be there for Kaia, helping her through this difficult time. "While this may not ease the pain you are enduring, everyone is here when you need them," Delevingne wrote to Kaia.

Presley Gerber died on 20/9 at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles, suspected of cardiac arrest due to an overdose. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not yet released the cause, continuing the investigation into the incident, according to People.
Born in 1999, Presley was the elder child of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber. Before his death, he was a promising model but gradually withdrew from the fashion industry due to mental instability and addiction. In his final years, he worked to overcome addiction and actively participated in mental health awareness activities. On Instagram from 2023, he launched a series called "Mental Health Mondays" to discuss treatment methods, self-healing, and life experiences.
