Quan Truong, known by his digital alias Con Co Day, was recognized as the Breakthrough Content Creator at the Vietnam iContent Awards 2025. The TikToker, originally from Hanoi, has captivated millions with his engaging content, transitioning from food reviews to family-centric entertainment.
A graduate of the Central University of Arts Education with a major in Cultural Management, Truong initially worked in marketing and communications. His artistic journey took a new direction when he moved to the South to further his career. Feeling a longing for his mother's guidance, he began creating humorous videos with close friends. These videos depict family life, daily stories, and mother-son dialogues, often filmed at home with an intimate style, such as a mother teaching her child or shopping. His acting skills, role-playing abilities, and costume changes quickly helped his videos trend, attracting millions to tens of millions of views.
Truong's content production requires minimal financial investment, primarily demanding time for brainstorming ideas, filming, and editing. During performances, he draws inspiration from memories of his grandmother, mother, or other women he has encountered, mimicking their distinct personalities. He once stated that the series aims to offer viewers diverse perspectives, fostering greater understanding and love for their own mothers.
After eight years in content creation, Truong has amassed over 1.4 million followers across various digital platforms. He consistently produces approximately 20 videos each month, maintaining a strong connection with his audience.
