During the performance on 23/1, Dam Vinh Hung sang a series of his signature songs, including: Xuan nay con khong ve, Say tinh, Nua vang trang, and Xuan ve nho me cha. Some inmates joined the singer on stage to sing and dance. For over 10 years, he has regularly dedicated time each year to provide cultural performances at various prisons.
The singer expressed his happiness each time he performs at a prison. "I am moved when many people hug and kiss me, ask for autographs, and give me flowers," he said. After each performance, the singer seeks out inmates facing difficulties to offer assistance.

He also invited close colleagues, including: Le Duong Bao Lam, Thu Hang, Truong Diem, Duong Trieu Vu, and Truong Giang, to participate, adding variety to the program. Following the performance at Xuyen Moc prison, the 70s-born singer will perform at Tra Vinh prison (Vinh Long) on 3/2.
Singer Dam Vinh Hung, whose real name is Huynh Minh Hung, is 55 years old and hails from Quang Nam. In 1998, he won fourth prize at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Contest. Since the early 2000s, he has been continuously active, captivating audiences with various genres such as classic, lyrical, and pop music. He released albums including: Hung (2004), Da khuc cho tinh nhan (2005), Tinh ca hoai niem (2006), and Giai thoat (2007). In 2022, the singer announced he had a child but kept the mother's identity private.
