Dam Vinh Hung revealed that after one year on the market, a fan purchased the villa, requesting that all existing furnishings and decorations be retained due to their appreciation for the interior design. On 14/12, the singer and his family moved out of the villa into a rented residence while awaiting the construction of their new home. The new project is slated to begin after the Lunar New Year and is expected to be completed in 2027. "I will build a townhouse, which will be even more beautiful than my old home", Dam Vinh Hung stated.
The villa Dam Vinh Hung sold is located in the Bac Hai area of district 10, a central location in former Ho Chi Minh City. He meticulously curated the home, selecting many expensive materials and furnishings. These included various types of tiles and stones imported from Egypt, sanitary ware from Japanese brands, and curtains and decorative rugs from Europe. The singer also dedicated a room to display his nearly 150 awards and 27 years of performance costumes, alongside a recording studio complete with a performance stage. Additionally, he maintained a plot of land within the villa for seasonal flowers and fruit trees.
Last year, his six-year-old son, Polo Huynh, began first grade at an international school in district 2, over ten km from their home. Each day, his son had to wake up at 6 AM to make it to school on time. "My child is still young, and daily long commutes and early mornings pained me", the singer said. "For Polo, I had to sell the home I loved and was attached to for many years".
