At the Hanoi Writers' Association's year-end conference, writer Tran Thi Truong received flowers and a certificate. She expressed her emotion at being honored, viewing it as motivation to continue her artistic endeavors.

Tran Gia Thai, Chairman of the Hanoi Writers' Association, described Tran Thi Truong as a versatile writer in Vietnamese literature. She made her mark with novels such as *Loi Cuoi Cho Em* (1990), *Ke Mac Chung Dien* (1992), and *Pho Hoai* (2020). A recurring theme in her works is the human condition and the relationship between individuals and society.

Born in Tuyen Quang, author Tran Thi Truong gained recognition in the 1990s for her writings on the inner lives of women, conveying their voices and private thoughts. Beyond writing, she is knowledgeable in music theory and literary criticism. After retiring, she focused on painting, developing a style that blends realism and impressionism. In 2019, she held her first art exhibition. Despite her involvement in multiple fields, literature remains her greatest passion.

During the event, the Hanoi Writers' Association also presented three awards for works in poetry, prose, and translated literature published from 1/10/2024 to 30/9 this year.

For poetry, the organizers honored *Di Ve Phia Mat Troi* (2024) by Le Canh Nhac. The publication is praised for its rich lyricism and humanistic philosophy, imbued with love for his homeland, country, and people. The prose award went to Dinh Phuong's short story collection *Thi Tran Ca Bong* (2025), which portrays individuals quietly living with emotions difficult to define.

The translated literature award was given to the Russian-Vietnamese bilingual poetry collection *Nhung Con Bao Tuyet*, translated by Thai Xuan Nguyen. This collection features 100 representative poems by Russian poet Sergey Yesenin, marking the 100th anniversary of his death (1925-2025).

On this occasion, the Hanoi Writers' Association admitted 38 qualified authors, including two for prose, two for translated literature, and 34 for poetry.
