The wedding reception took place at their private residence on the evening of 14/12 in Binh Tan ward, TP HCM. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy, attended by friends and colleagues from the music industry. During the ceremony, Hoang Trang and Nguyen Dong recreated their familiar image, performing a raw acoustic rendition with a guitar of the song "De gio dua vao lang quen" (Let the Wind Carry into Oblivion), composed by Bao Phuc.

Prior to the event, the couple spent several days preparing handwritten wedding invitations. The invitations featured a drawing of Hoang Trang singing beside Nguyen Dong, accompanied by lyrics from Trinh Cong Son's song "Hoa xuan ca" (Spring Flower Song): "Spring arrives on the other hill/ The sky opens up to swallows/ You come and sit beside me/ Life opens up a love story."
Hoang Trang shared that after over 10 years of love, she and Nguyen Dong learned to compromise and harmonize their personalities. Following their marriage, they will focus on their music, aiming to release more polished and professional products instead of their previous impromptu recordings.
The singing duo has nurtured the idea of creating their debut album for many years to reciprocate audience affection, but they had not released it due to some unsatisfactory aspects. "Music will always be the bond that connects us", Nguyen Dong stated.

Nguyen Dong, 39, first met Hoang Trang, 28, when she was still a high school student. Initially, he did not like old music, preferring vibrant pop songs like those from Lan Song Xanh. Hoang Trang, however, loved Trinh music from a young age, as both her parents were fans of the composer. One day, he accidentally heard Hoang Trang sing "Dau chan dia dang" (Footprints in Paradise) at the Hoi Ngo club, and gradually fell in love with her voice. Weekly, he would drive his motorbike approximately 25 km to her performance venue, striking up conversations and eventually getting to know her.
Later, as they fell in love and began performing together, practicing new songs, they experienced moments of anger and arguments. Thanks to Trinh music, they reconciled and continued their journey as a singing duo.

Before gaining fame, Hoang Trang was an Italian language student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, TP HCM, with no intention of pursuing a singing career. At that time, she sang old music primarily because she enjoyed the atmosphere of coffee shops and wanted to supplement her income.
In 2020, a video of her performing "Ta thay gi dem nay" (What Do We See Tonight) by Trinh Cong Son, accompanied by Nguyen Dong's guitar, unexpectedly went viral on social media, attracting millions of views. Audiences were captivated by Hoang Trang's raw, passionate singing style, which prioritized instinct over technicality. From that moment, the two had the opportunity to perform on large stages, including many events organized by the late composer's family.

For Hoang Trang, Nguyen Dong is a significant emotional anchor in both life and music. When she first gained public recognition, she was in her early 20s, still unsure of her next steps. Nguyen Dong consistently guided Hoang Trang, showing her the path to "be most authentically herself." Hoang Trang reflected, "Looking back, we have never had a disagreement about music, because Dong always guided me."
In recent years, the singer received additional guidance from Ms. Trinh Vinh Trinh, Trinh Cong Son's sister, on how to sing in the true spirit of his lyrics. Beyond Trinh music, the singing duo also covers compositions by musicians Vu Thanh An, Pham Duy, and Tran Tien.
