'Mat Ket Noi' was the sole Vpop song nominated in the Best of Listeners' Choice: International Song category, appearing alongside works by acclaimed artists such as Yoasobi, Fujii Kaze, NewJeans, Seventeen, and Rose (Blackpink). The nominations were announced on 13/6. Previously, the public voted for the top 30 from a list of 80 songs to advance to this round.

"I am happy to be featured at the awards. Although I haven't won a trophy yet, bringing 'Mat Ket Noi' beyond the domestic music scene is a great honor for me," he said. The winning song in the category was "Don't Say You Love Me" by Jin (BTS).

Duong Domic, whose real name is Tran Dang Duong, is 26 years old and hails from Hai Phong (formerly Hai Duong). He began his musical journey at 14, teaching himself composition and singing.
