Hollywood stars gather at World Cup opening ceremony

Katy Perry and her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, actor Tom Cruise, and football legend David Beckham attended the US World Cup opening match.

The World Cup opening ceremony took place at SoFi Stadium in California on 12/6/2026 (local time). Many stars and celebrities were present to watch the match between the home team and Paraguay. The US won convincingly with a 4-1 score.
