Touliver performs in wheelchair at SpaceSpeakers concert

Music producer Touliver performed in a wheelchair due to a sprained ankle at a concert celebrating 15 years of brotherhood with Soobin, Cuong Seven, Rhymastic, and Binz.

On the evening of 13/6, Touliver joined his fellow SpaceSpeakers members for a concert in Ho Chi Minh City, marking 15 years since the group's formation and their shared passion for music. Having sprained his ankle before the event, Touliver took to the stage in a wheelchair. He shared that he suppressed the pain to play the keyboard, harmonizing with everyone during performances and interacting with the audience.

Touliver, the group's founder, has guided many members to stardom. While he is known for his strictness in work, the members trust and respect his abilities. Cuong Seven stated, "Touliver has greatly influenced me, helping me change my professional mindset and personality." Rhymastic added, "Whenever we're sad, we just need to sit and listen to Touliver's piano, and everything feels soothed."

Without directly mentioning the marital difficulties of their leader and singer Toc Tien, the messages from Binz, Rhymastic, and Cuong Seven conveyed support for Touliver, wishing him luck and happiness. Listening to their heartfelt words, Touliver was visibly moved, wiping away tears at times. He encouraged the members to maintain their bond to continue developing together.

Members' confessions and Touliver's message.

Before over 2,000 fans, the group reminisced about their journey, from making music in a small room with old equipment to establishing themselves in the entertainment industry. They once harbored ambitions of performing on large stages and having popular hits. Today, that dream has become a reality, exceeding many expectations.

Kien Ung appeared shy as his bandmates praised him as the group's most handsome member. Previously unreleased photos of Rhymastic and Soobin when they first joined, along with moments of SlimV and Touliver dancing hip hop, brought laughter from the fans. According to the members, their long-standing bond is due to their love for music and spirit of unity. Soobin expressed that he has never considered leaving, viewing the group as a second home where he receives love and support for his career.

The group sings "Nguyen team di vao het" to open the show.

For nearly three hours, SpaceSpeakers created an intimate atmosphere, singing along with the audience to songs such as Vut tan, You&I, Gene, Everyday, and Nang len. Through games and interactions, they demonstrated their deep understanding of each other's work and daily lives. The group also listened to video messages from colleagues and family members prepared by the crew. These nostalgic images took the group back to their memories, inspiring them to continue their musical journey. Binz became emotional hearing his mother's loving words, especially regarding the mutual understanding between him and his family following the release of his album "Gap lai" in late May.

A highlight of the concert was the performance by the group's new generation, including Gen Z artists from the Firstgene band, producer Kriss Ngo, and MonoTape. They energized the stage with youthful tracks like 12H03, Chomp, and Alone Momei. Guests Kimmese and Triple D, former collaborators, also returned for the anniversary celebration. The show concluded with an exciting announcement that the group would release an album and hold a "Kosmik" concert in Hanoi later this year.

Generations of SpaceSpeakers gather on stage.

Musician Huy Tuan noted that the group now brings together prominent names and provides a platform to discover young talent. Director Viet Tu and singer Nhat Thu expressed confidence that the group will achieve more success in the future. Audience member Dong Phuong, 35 years old, from Ho Chi Minh City, said, "Four years ago, I attended their 'Thien ha thanh am' concert for their 11th anniversary and felt their brotherhood. Today, that bond is even stronger as they readily support each other and advance their careers."

Soobin catwalks to fan cheers.

SpaceSpeakers was founded on 31/10/2011, with original members Touliver, Soobin, Rhymastic, Triple D, JustaTee, Kimmese, Cuong Seven, and Kien Ung. In 2018 and 2019, Binz, TINLE, and SlimV joined the music organization. To date, they have contributed to popularizing rap and hip-hop in the community. Many songs released by these artists have created a unique mark in the domestic music market. They have won over 70 awards during their career.
