Actress Yoo Ha Na recently created an account on the Douyin platform, posting her first video on 17/11. In the video, she greeted her audience, saying, "Hello everyone, long time no see, do you remember A Xing?". She included several clips from the drama alongside Taiwanese actor Jimmy Lin.
On 19/11, the keyword phrase "Yoo Ha Na's current appearance" became the most searched topic on Weibo social media. According to Sina, most fans commented that the actress's face had changed significantly, making her unrecognizable. While Yoo Ha Na did not directly address plastic surgery speculation, she humorously responded to some fan comments. "I haven't changed, it's just a different look," she wrote, adding in another reply, "Girls go through puberty, so you don't recognize me."
When a fan expressed regret, saying, "Your face before had a unique charm, it's a pity," she replied, "I had a unique charm before, and now I have a different unique charm; I'm the new A Xing." Many praised Yoo Ha Na's calm demeanor in handling the comments.
"My Lucky Star" premiered in 2007, becoming a sensation in several Asian countries. Yoo Ha Na played Xia Zhi Xing, a poor girl with a knack for telling convincing lies, often deceiving others. Xia Zhi Xing's personality changed after falling in love with the wealthy heir Zhong Tian Qi (Jimmy Lin). Following this drama, Ha Na starred in some Korean films but did not gain significant recognition.
After a guest role in SBS's "Lie to Me" in 2011, Yoo Ha Na has not released any new works. She has been married to baseball player Lee Young Gyu for 14 years; her eldest son is 12 this year, and her youngest is 6. In recent years, Ha Na has rarely appeared at entertainment events.
