According to Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Discovery, the rights holder for the film series, announced extensive plans to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", the first installment in the series.

Over two decades, the films propelled Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson to stardom, making their images synonymous with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Since then, the wizarding world, created by author J. K. Rowling, has largely been defined by these three actors.
The series of celebratory activities kicked off this spring, featuring mobile trucks selling butterbeer — a fictional beverage from the films, described as tasting like butterscotch and toffee — and merchandise in many cities worldwide from March to May.
A key highlight is the re-release of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in theaters. The filmmakers added 10 minutes of previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage. These screenings will take place in numerous countries and regions across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific from 27/8 to 3/9.
In the latter half of the year, Harry Potter attractions and stores worldwide will host simultaneous events and introduce limited edition products, coinciding with Harry Potter's birthday on 31/7. The annual Back to Hogwarts event will take place in August and September, connecting the global fan community.
