Singer Hong Nhung and her two children moved into their penthouse in An Khanh ward, TP HCM, over a year ago. The two-story apartment features a dining room, music room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and a storage room. A nature lover, Hong Nhung has dedicated space to gardening. After diligent care, her garden now boasts a variety of short-term and seasonal fruit trees, including hog plums, mangoes, guavas, dragon fruits, papayas, and apples, interspersed with roses, orchids, and ferns.

Each morning, she spends over one hour meditating and practicing yoga in her garden. While gardening is a source of relaxation, she notes it requires significant time, effort, and expense for care and fertilizers. However, she cherishes the feeling of watching plants bloom and bear fruit. On one occasion, "Co Bong" (her nickname, meaning "little girl" or "young lady") harvested nearly a dozen bunches of bananas and a basket of cherry tomatoes. "I have a green thumb; everything I plant thrives," the singer stated. She often uses her garden's fruits to prepare healthy dishes or picks flowers and leaves to decorate her living space.
Daily flower arranging is her secret to maintaining composure and avoiding anger. She believes that no flower arrangement can be truly beautiful if one's soul is not at peace.
Following a health setback, Hong Nhung became more meticulous about her diet and rest. The artist shared that her new routine includes expressing gratitude before bedtime. "I usually relax my body, breathe deeply, and tell myself I am fortunate to have had a peaceful day," she said.

Hong Nhung is content with her current life, as her two children, Tom and Tep, 14 years old, are well-behaved, excel in their studies, and share her appreciation for beauty and nature. She noted that when not occupied with schoolwork, the two children help her water the garden and learn flower arranging. Her son is skilled at playing musical instruments such as the piano, violin, and saxophone, and is a student of saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan. Hong Nhung's daughter, meanwhile, shows talent in painting.
The singer currently keeps her romantic life private. In 2021, she publicly revealed her relationship with German architect Gerhard Heusch, three years after divorcing her American husband and becoming a single mother. For a period, the singer took her two children to France to live with her boyfriend. In 2023, Hong Nhung returned to Vietnam to participate in "Chi dep dap gio" (a reality show), stating that her boyfriend supported her and helped her train physically for the program. The couple maintains a long-distance relationship, communicating and checking in with each other regularly. Most recently, the singer mentioned her boyfriend in a 7/2025 interview, saying he designed the space and interior for her new penthouse.

Hong Nhung, 56 years old, whose full name is Le Hong Nhung, began her singing career in the 1980s. She achieved success with songs by Trinh Cong Son, Duong Thu, Tran Tien, Phu Quang, Quoc Trung, and Thanh Tung. Her notable albums include Doan Khuc Thu Ha Noi (1997), Bai Hat Ru Cho Anh (1998), Ngay Khong Mua (2002), Thuo Bong La Nguoi (2003), and Khu Vuon Yen Tinh (2004).
In late 2017, she reconnected with audiences through her Hanoi-themed album, Pho A Pho Oi. In 2020, the singer released the CD Tuoi Tho Toi, an album featuring popular children's songs such as Ngay Dau Tien Di Hoc, Chu Ech Con, and Dem Sao. In 2024, the singer held a concert and launched the vinyl record Bong La Ai, performing Trinh Cong Son's music in a jazz style. Last year, Hong Nhung released the music video Tu Hoi after six months of breast cancer treatment.
