The new project, "Quan nha Haha", builds on the success of "Gia dinh Haha", which aired last year. This season brings a cast of artists to regions rich in community tourism potential across Vietnam. At each stop, the five main members, along with locals and guest stars, directly manage a restaurant and operate homestays or farmstays.
The artists are responsible for all aspects of farm life and hospitality. Their tasks range from tilling fields, raising livestock, and fishing to crafting menus, calculating costs, and personally cooking for guests.
As the head chef, Jun Pham admitted to facing considerable pressure while cooking for dozens of guests daily. "If you cook something a bit off for family, you just get teased, but cooking for a business involves significant risk," the singer explained. "From managing the firewood to controlling portions, one mistake could lead to a deficit of tens of millions of dong. I constantly listen to feedback to adjust dishes to suit local tastes."
Rhymastic's cooking skills have improved notably this season. In the previous season, the rapper primarily handled cleaning, repairs, or ingredient preparation. This time, he is tasked with mixing various sauces and actively cooking. Bui Cong Nam, meanwhile, maintains a relaxed demeanor, embracing his familiar rustic charm to naturally integrate into rural life.
Ngoc Thanh Tam, a key cast member, shared that her extensive global travels have highlighted Vietnam's beautiful scenery and unique culinary "DNA". "I feel proud that international friends consistently use the original Vietnamese names for dishes like pho and banh mi instead of translating them," the actress stated.
Beyond entertainment, the program aims to foster long-term livelihoods for local communities. It achieves this by promoting regional specialties, introducing tourism routes, and preserving local culinary culture.

"Gia dinh Haha" explored the simple life in Vietnamese villages, earning the "Digital Phenomenon of the Year" award at the Vietnam iContent 2025 gala. In that show, the artists shed their celebrity status to immerse themselves in the daily routines of villagers. Images of them covered in mud, struggling to plow fields, practicing carrying water, or sharing meals around a wood-burning stove became widely discussed topics on social media. Audiences on various forums praised the program for its "healing" quality, blending culture with everyday life to inspire positive living.
