According to TMZ on 8/1, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the list of presenters for the 83rd annual event, which includes Lisa. She will take on this role alongside international stars such as Snoop Dogg, Miley Cyrus, and Orlando Bloom.

Last year, the artist made an acting breakthrough with a role in season three of The White Lotus series. Her character in the film, named Mook, which means "pearl" in Thai, worked as a resort employee.

Despite a brief appearance, Lisa's appeal sparked audience curiosity. In addition to the film's release in the US, the team also held a premiere in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2/2025, offering attendance tickets to over 200 fans. She has also actively participated in many important Hollywood events, having performed at the Oscar, Met Gala, and Emmy 2025.

In 12/2025, producers announced Lisa would star in the action project Tygo, part of the Extraction film series, alongside actors Ma Dong Seok and Lee Jin Wook. The plot revolves around the South Korean criminal underworld, with filming commencing in late 2025, marking her transition from television to cinema.

The Golden Globe Awards are managed by Eldridge Industries and Dick Clark Productions (DCP), after the Hollywood Foreign Press Association sold all its assets, rights, and program ownership in 6/2023. Since the 2024 awards season, each category features six nominated works, an increase from the previous five. The 83rd awards ceremony will take place on 11/1 Los Angeles time (morning of 12/1 Hanoi time), broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+, with Nikki Glaser returning as host for the second consecutive year.
