Midu wore a sheer ao dai with 3D floral patterns for the event, which honored individuals and groups for their contributions to domestic culture and arts. This program, organized for the first time, was a collaboration between Dai Doan Ket newspaper, the central agency of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and various other units.

Hoa Minzy chose a design by Cao Minh Tien for the red carpet. She was nominated for song of the year (Bac Bling), music video of the year (Noi Dau Giua Hoa Binh, Bac Bling), and singer of the year.

Phuong My Chi was nominated for song of the year with Ech Ngoai Day Gieng and singer of the year.

Vo Ha Tram paired an ao dai with a fur shawl. She competed for singer of the year alongside Hoa Minzy, Phuong My Chi, Soobin, and Tung Duong.

Actors Hua Vi Van and Le Hoang Long wore traditional attire. They appeared in Mua Do by director Dang Thai Huyen, a work nominated for film of the year.

Nguyen Hai Phong attended the event with his wife and two children. He composed the song Viet Nam Tinh Hoa, the award's theme song.

Musician Nguyen Van Chung was nominated for musician of the year, alongside Hua Kim Tuyen, Nguyen Hung, and Tuan Cry.
