Nguyen Khang confirmed he has already filmed several episodes of the new season. He expressed excitement about meeting artists and contestants and listening to their stories. "What I value most about this program", he stated, "is that contestants strive not for themselves, but for someone else".
'You Deserve It', broadcast on VTV3, is an adaptation of the game show of the same name by Red Arrow Entertainment Group from Germany, which originally debuted in the United States on ABC. The program honors individuals who contribute to society or possess strong will and ability but have faced misfortune. Contestants can win up to 80 million VND, which is then awarded to these deserving individuals. In each round, players open clues to find answers across one of three themes: 'Who' (real or fictional characters), 'What' (objects, phenomena, animals), and 'Where' (locations on a world map).
The first season of the program in Vietnam aired in 2013, hosted by Tran Thanh, attracting a large viewership. Following Tran Thanh, MC Quyen Linh took over hosting duties, remaining with the show for many years before stepping down for the latest season.
In late september, Thanh Hoa provincial police reported dismantling a network producing over one million fake 'An Cung stroke prevention' pills. The operation was allegedly led by Nguyen Thanh Phuong Tuyen, 38, from Dong Thap province, who is the director of Tami Natural Home Pharmaceutical Cosmetics Production Company Limited. Quyen Linh was widely discussed on social media due to rumors linking his company to the incident. On 25/9, Quyen Linh denied any involvement with the product mentioned in the circulating information via his official fanpage. He urged the public to "look at the facts correctly and not let misleading information distort the truth".
Actor Quyen Linh, 57, whose real name is Mai Huyen Linh, gained recognition in the 1990s for his rugged and romantic appearance. He starred in notable films such as Nguoi Ha Noi (1995), Nhung Neo Duong Phu Sa (1997), Dong Tien Xuong Mau (1999), and Giao Thoi (2000). In the 2000s, he transitioned to hosting game shows like Vuot Len Chinh Minh and Ban Muon Hen Ho. Linh married Da Thao in 2005 and they have two daughters, affectionately known as Lo Lem and Hat De. In late 8/2024, he will return to cinema after 20 years with the film Hai Muoi, directed by Vu Thanh Vinh. In addition to acting and producing programs, he also serves as Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Cinema Association.
Nguyen Khang, born in 1984 in Ho Chi Minh City, began his career in 2006 after placing in the top 10 of the Ho Chi Minh City Television's 'Search for a Host' competition. He is well-known to audiences for hosting programs such as Buoc Nhay Hoan Vu, Giong Hat Viet, and The Remix. Additionally, he produces his own talk show, 'The Khang Show'.
