Tam ca Ao Trang reunites with their children

Tam ca Ao Trang captured a commemorative photo shoot with their children during their recent visit from the US to Vietnam to see relatives.

According to Tuyet Ngan, bringing their children from the US to visit their homeland every summer and Lunar New Year has been a long-standing family tradition. This year, with all three singers' children present despite their busy study schedules, they decided to take commemorative photos.

Tam ca Ao Trang, a prominent music group of the 1990s, consists of three sisters: Tuyet Ngan, the eldest, and twin sisters Minh Thu and Minh Tu. The group recently gathered for a family photo session, a cherished tradition when they return to Vietnam from the US.

Tuyet Ngan's eldest daughter, Tuyet Nghi (right), 21, is a final-year marketing student at New York University. Her son, Brooklyn Nguyen, 20, is a second-year finance student at the University of Tennessee.

The three sisters also reunited on stage in early August for the charity concert "Mot Thoi De Nho" (A Time to Remember) in Ho Chi Minh City. Their passion for singing began in childhood, leading them to perform at the Ho Chi Minh City Children's House and become familiar faces on the "Nhung Bong Hoa Nho" (Little Flowers) program in the early 1990s.

Their professional journey as Tam ca Ao Trang began in 1992 after winning first prize at the Ho Chi Minh City Radio Singing Competition. At their peak, the group released 4 pop music CDs, 2 Japanese language CDs, and a Christmas album recorded with singer Hong Nhung. The group ceased operations in 2005 when all three members married and settled in the US.

The children of Tam ca Ao Trang are pursuing diverse paths:

Minh Tu, 51, has been a single mother for many years. She currently co-manages a beauty salon with her sister, Tuyet Ngan.

Minh Thu, 51, is married to businessman Hoang Long and works as a homemaker. Her family lives in North Carolina.

Minh Thu's son, Minh Kiem (center), 23, is a third-year business administration student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He has sung in a choir since he was 5 and aspires to a professional music career. Her daughter, Nguyen Hoang Vivian (left), is 14.
