People reports that Ingrid Alexandra will become Norway's future queen after her grandfather, King Harald, passed away on 28/8 and her father was sworn in on 1/9. The last queen of Norway was Margaret, who reigned from 1388 to 1412.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra (left), 22 years old, is the eldest daughter of King Haakon, who just ascended the throne, and Queen Mette-Marit. She has a younger brother, Prince Sverre Magnus, who is one year her junior.

Ingrid Alexandra is a student at the University of Oslo and also studied international relations and political economy at the University of Sydney earlier this year.

Initially, she trained at the recruit school, then received specialized training as a gunner on a CV-90 infantry fighting vehicle. She completed her military service in 4/2025. In 2021, she sat in the cockpit of an F-16 fighter jet during a visit to a military base.

The Princess of Norway is reportedly close friends with Princess Elisabeth of Belgium and Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands. All three are currently heirs to the throne in their respective countries.

In 2023, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Ingrid Alexandra appeared at the Palace Square in Oslo. The princess paired a cream-colored dress with nude high heels for a minimalist look.

In her daily life, the princess prefers modern, basic, and monochromatic designs. When she went to support Norway at the World Cup this year, both royal sisters wore suits.
