Thuy Nguyen, 45, born in Hanoi, started her career as a painter under the pseudonym Tia - Thuy Nguyen. At 18, she held her first solo art exhibition. After graduating from Hanoi University of Fine Arts in 2006, Thuy Nguyen studied in Ukraine for 8 years, successfully defending her Doctor of Fine Arts dissertation in Kiev. Upon returning to Vietnam in 2011, the artist ventured into fashion, launching collections that blend traditional culture: Lung Lieng, Gio Mua Ve, Coc Cach, Vien Man, Mong Mi, Tinh Tang, and Tim Nguoi Trong Mong.
