On 8/12, Truong Ba Chi appeared in court for the second time to address a lawsuit filed against her by Du Duc Hung and AEG Entertainment. The dispute stems from their collaboration, which lasted from 2011 until before 2019.
While some media outlets were permitted to attend, photography and videography were prohibited. According to St Headline, the plaintiff's lawyer relentlessly questioned Truong Ba Chi, focusing on inconsistencies in her testimony. During this intense questioning, Truong Ba Chi lost her composure and cried loudly. She stated, "I haven't been able to sleep for days, this is too unfair to me, I am under too much pressure, everything is fake."
The presiding judge gave Truong Ba Chi time to calm down and asked if she could continue the session, to which she replied, "I can." Throughout the trial, Truong Ba Chi frequently answered, "I don't remember," when asked about specific contract details.
