The first runner-up stated that previously, she wanted to maintain her daughter's privacy as Maymy was still young, to avoid any impact on her. Now that Maymy is older, May feels comfortable sharing her daughter's images. Despite this, Truong Thi May did not mention her daughter's father.

According to the beauty queen, since Maymy's arrival, her family home has been filled with laughter every day. "Becoming a mother has changed me significantly, making me more mature and thoughtful in all matters. I hope my daughter grows up to be a good citizen, beneficial to society," the first runner-up said.

In the photo collection, Truong Thi May also captured memories with her 86-year-old grandmother. "I cherish every moment because it holds great meaning regarding family bonds. While my grandmother is still alive, I want to preserve as many beautiful moments with her as possible," the beauty queen shared.

Truong Thi May noted that her grandmother's health is not as good as it once was. At nearly 90 years old, she remains lucid, remembering the names of her children and grandchildren. About a year ago, her grandmother suffered a serious illness, causing concern for the entire family. The beauty queen had previously declined several entertainment activities to dedicate time to caring for her grandmother.

The first runner-up recalled her childhood years, often being comforted to sleep by her grandmother, who would save cakes and fruits for her after school. As she grew up and pursued a showbiz career, her grandmother was supportive, often praising her whenever she saw her on tivi. "In my memory, my grandmother always had a gentle demeanor. I wish she would live a very long life," Truong Thi May said.

Truong My Tien, Truong Thi May's mother, spoke emotionally about the family gathering at the start of the new year. She has accompanied her daughter for over 20 years in showbiz and currently manages Truong Thi May.

Truong Thi May, 38 years old, won the title of first runner-up at the Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2007 pageant. In 2013, she competed in Miss Universe in Russia but did not make it into the final top. In acting, she participated in the television dramas Chau Sa (directed by Nguyen Thanh Vinh) and Giac mo thu bay (Michael Vo). In 2009, she won the Best Actress award in the video feature film category for her work Duong dua at the Golden Kite Awards.
