The concert, originally scheduled for tonight, 28/12, was called off due to inadequate ticket sales and a lack of funds to cover production expenses. Thu Ha, a representative of the production unit, issued an announcement stating the program's halt and the need for more time to sell tickets and secure a new venue.
"We deeply regret having to apologize to the audience and the participating singers", Thu Ha stated. "We plan to organize another performance in the near future." The organizers will update their fanpage with information on ticket refunds. Thu Ha added that singers who traveled to Hanoi for the performance would be reimbursed for their airfare and accommodation.

One day before the postponement, Trinh Vinh Trinh, sister of composer Trinh Cong Son, revealed she had sent a letter to the organizer, Ngoc Viet Education Co., Ltd. The letter requested the company to "refrain from using Trinh Cong Son's musical works in the program until royalties are paid to the family or the Vietnam Center for Protection of Music Copyright."
In response, the organizers stated they had not received any official complaint from Trinh Cong Son's family or the Vietnam Center for Protection of Music Copyright. They emphasized that the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports had already licensed the show, including 11 songs by Trinh Cong Son. The organizers also claimed to have been negotiating royalty payments with the Vietnam Center for Protection of Music Copyright since October.
"Ve day bon canh chim troi" is a concert honoring the works of composers Tran Tien, Van Cao, Pham Duy, and Trinh Cong Son. Earlier, composer Tran Tien and the show's production team held a press conference in TP HCM. He mentioned that in June, he and producer Thu Ha met to conceptualize the concert. Tran Tien expressed, "This is an opportunity for me to create a show to honor their works, and I feel privileged to have my name alongside theirs."
The program was set to feature renowned artists such as Hong Nhung, Ha Tran, Doan Trang Tan Minh, alongside young talents like Lam Bao Ngoc, Tuan Anh, and Thanh Thuy. Cao Trung Hieu served as general director, with composer Hoai Sa as music director.
