Ho Khac Vinh, the owner of the "Vinh thich an ngon" channel, was born in 1996 in Binh Dinh. A graduate of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture and Arts, Vinh is a familiar face in culinary content creation. Rather than focusing on renowned restaurants, he chooses to highlight lesser-known, small eateries. Through his authentic and humorous storytelling, Vinh helps many small businesses improve their trade and offers audiences a humanistic perspective on the struggles of working individuals.
When he first entered content creation, Vinh gained significant attention with his series "Sai Gon an sang chua?" (Have you had breakfast in Saigon?), launched in December 2022, which garnered over 1.3 million views. In this series, he visits small breakfast stalls, listens to the vendors' stories, and sometimes buys out all their goods just so "today, grandma has money for rent." These simple, heartwarming stories resonated widely on social media, moving many viewers.
Following this success, Vinh launched the "Khoi nghiep niem tin" (Startup of faith) series, where he seeks out struggling restaurants and documents their recovery journey, thanks to community support. He accepts no payment from these establishments, seeing it simply as a way to "share his luck."
Beyond culinary content, Vinh has also undertaken various philanthropic projects, including "Water supply for three Mekong Delta provinces", "Bringing electricity to remote villages", "Rescuing Vinh Long oranges", and the "Tet du day" (Abundant Tet) program. In an episode broadcast in early 2025, he presented Tet gifts to the elderly, capturing an emotional moment when an old woman said she would "use this photo for worship," moving him to tears.
After four years of content creation, Vinh has attracted over 3.4 million followers across digital platforms. Specifically, TikTok accounts for 2 million followers, Instagram has 212,000, YouTube approximately 13,600, and Facebook around 1.2 million.
At the Vietnam iContent Awards 2025, Ho Khac Vinh received two accolades: "Individual for the community" and "Inspirational content creator."
