6 drinks for radiant skin

Lemon water and tomato juice, packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, can slow down aging and nourish the skin.

Harsh sunlight, pollution, stress, and unhealthy lifestyles can lead to dull, rough, and aging skin. Doctor Nguyen Anh Duy Tung from Nutrihome Nutrition Center explains that in addition to external skincare, many drinks rich in vitamins, antioxidants, plant-based collagen, and beneficial fatty acids can support skin regeneration, reduce UV damage, and promote smooth, youthful skin.

Water detoxifies the body, removes toxins, and improves blood circulation, resulting in less dry, dull skin and a natural glow. Adults should drink an average of 1.5-2 liters of water per day, depending on their weight and activity level.

Lemon water, rich in vitamin C, can stimulate collagen production, improve elasticity, and brighten skin. Drinking lemon water (unsweetened or with little sugar) in the morning provides antioxidants, protecting the skin from UV rays and environmental pollution.

Green tea is full of polyphenols, especially EGCG, which have anti-inflammatory and potent antioxidant effects. This beverage helps detoxify the body, reduces wrinkle formation, helps reduce acne, and evens out skin tone.

Tomato juice contains lycopene, beta-carotene, and vitamin C—nutrients that can reduce sun damage, fight free radicals, and promote smooth, youthful skin. Regular consumption can significantly improve skin tone.

Pomegranate juice is rich in polyphenols and anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants that protect the skin from sun damage, reduce dark spots, and promote skin cell regeneration.

Nut milk, such as almond, walnut, or cashew milk, provides omega-3s, vitamin E, and many essential minerals for the skin. These nutrients help reduce inflammation, prevent dry skin, and maintain a radiant complexion.

For healthy, beautiful skin, Doctor Duy Tung recommends incorporating drinks rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including sufficient sleep, avoiding late nights, regular exercise, and a positive mindset, is also crucial.

Avoid alcohol, tobacco, sugary drinks, and milk tea. These beverages dehydrate the body, disrupt hormones, accelerate aging, and can contribute to acne and dull skin. Supplementing with natural extracts like sakura (cherry blossom extract), pomegranate (red pomegranate extract), p.leucotomos (fern extract), and l-glutathione can help combat aging factors, reduce dark melanin, and promote firm, radiant skin.
