6 foods that boost male sexual health

Garlic chives, bitter melon, avocados, pomegranates, nuts, and shellfish are rich in zinc and selenium, which help increase testosterone production and enhance male sexual health.

According to Doctor Doan Vinh Binh from the Medical Information Center at Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, diet significantly impacts overall health and male sexual function.

Garlic chives are rich in zinc, calcium, and magnesium, essential minerals that support the body's testosterone production. They also contain vitamin C and antioxidants, which protect sperm health and may help prevent prostate cancer.

Bitter melon has a cooling effect and is used in traditional medicine to relieve fever, clear phlegm, improve eyesight, cool the blood, promote bowel movements, nourish the kidneys, eliminate heat toxins, and combat fatigue. The fruit and seeds of bitter melon are believed to have aphrodisiac properties and support male sexual health.

Avocados provide vitamin E, which fights free radicals and improves sperm quality. The folate in avocados supports sperm production and development. Folate is essential for DNA replication, thereby increasing sperm motility, count, and quality.

Pomegranates are rich in antioxidants, which help increase blood circulation. This fruit provides folic acid, vitamins B and C, which increase testosterone levels, boost libido, and improve erectile function.

Almonds, walnuts, and beans contain high levels of zinc, selenium, and omega-3 fatty acids, which help the body produce testosterone, improve sperm quality, increase blood flow to the genitals, and support erectile function.

Oysters, abalone, and blood cockles are beneficial for male sexual health because they are rich in zinc and selenium. These minerals help increase testosterone production, improve sperm quality, and promote overall health. Consuming oysters along with natural extracts like eurycoma longifolia and French maritime pine bark extract can help stimulate the body's production of testosterone and nitric oxide, further supporting sexual health.
