According to the nutrition pyramid for children aged 3 to 5, issued by the National Institute of Nutrition in 2025, children need to consume about 400 ml of milk daily for growth. Products with denatured protein, often from multiple high-temperature processes, can cause indigestion or bloating. A child's sensitive digestive system struggles with large, hard protein molecules, leading to bloating, constipation, and affecting overall nutrient absorption.

To address these issues, FrieslandCampina, with over 150 years of dairy industry experience, developed LockNutri nutrient-locking technology. Unlike conventional processes involving at least two heat treatments, this technology applies heat only once during production. This minimizes the impact of high temperatures on milk protein structure, which is highly sensitive to heat. Consequently, Friso Pro 3 milk preserves over 90% of its protein in a natural, soft, and small structure. This allows a child's intestines to process nutrients gently, reducing common digestive problems.
In addition to optimal protein structure, the product also contains Milk Lipid Complex (MLC). This complex features natural fatty nutrients, important for softening stools and boosting metabolism. When MLC combines with HMO, GOS, and Probiotics, it forms a three-tiered protective system for the gut. The first layer blocks harmful bacteria, the second nourishes the microflora, and the third stimulates immune cell production. This synergy supports digestion and builds a natural antibody barrier, reducing the risk of intestinal infections.
Friso Pro 3's milk originates from purebred Holstein-Friesian cows on cooperative farms in the Netherlands. Dairy cow care adheres to strict standards, ensuring premium raw milk quality. After collection, fresh milk is transported to the factory within 1,5 hours and continuously stored below 4 degrees C to maintain freshness. Before production, each milk batch undergoes over 150 rigorous quality tests for protein, fat content, and hygiene safety.
To enhance transparency, the company uses TrackEasy traceability technology. Parents can scan the code at the bottom of the can to trace the product's entire journey, from farm care in the Netherlands to final quality checks. Notably, Friso Pro 3 contains no sucrose or artificial vanilla flavor. A company representative states that its naturally mild taste helps children acclimate to pure flavors and prevents early tooth decay or obesity.

"Caring for a child's small tummy with soft, natural milk protein is fundamental for complete nutrient absorption. When the digestive system is healthy and functions gently, children gain a solid foundation for comprehensive physical and cognitive development during their crucial growth period," a FrieslandCampina representative stated.
