Imexpharm partnered with the 5th Pharmacist Scientific Conference, presenting solutions for respiratory diseases and introducing new pharmaceutical technologies to enhance consulting capabilities.
During the conference, Doctor Dang Thi Kim Huyen, Specialist II from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, shared insights on distinguishing common respiratory illnesses such as: the common cold, flu, sinusitis, and Covid-19. She guided pharmacists on recognizing signs of worsening conditions, advising them to refer patients for timely hospital examinations. Analyzing clinical cases, Doctor Huyen explained that the flu typically presents with a sudden onset, high fever, muscle pain, and prolonged fatigue. In contrast, the common cold progresses gradually, featuring milder symptoms like a runny nose, occasional headaches, or a low-grade fever.

A company representative stated that Imexpharm's research and development (R&D) department successfully applied modern technology to produce orally dispersible tablets (ODT). This solution combines the stability and ease of storage of traditional tablets with the rapid absorption of liquid medications. ODT technology allows the medicine to dissolve quickly upon contact with saliva, enabling patients to take it without water and eliminating the risk of choking or gagging. Additionally, the manufacturer incorporates pleasant aromas and a mild sweetness, making the medication more palatable for children.
Imexpharm currently operates four factory clusters with 12 production lines, all meeting WHO-GMP and EU-GMP standards. The company consistently invests in manufacturing technology and research capabilities to deliver high-quality, convenient healthcare solutions to users. A representative from Imexpharm affirmed, "Our participation in this scientific conference further demonstrates our enduring commitment to improving public health, a mission we have diligently pursued for five decades."
