Michael Owen stated that accurate diagnosis of player injuries is crucial. The recovery process for returning to peak physical condition is equally important.
"Medical technology, equipment, and doctors' expertise have significantly advanced. I sometimes think that if I had my injuries now, the treatment would undoubtedly be much better," Owen said. "Now, if a player gets injured, they are cared for by the best people, with the most modern equipment, in the best conditions and facilities. They have more opportunities to recover quickly and return to the field sooner," he added.
