On 21/12, Tay Hieu ward leaders confirmed that police had summoned the father, who resides in the area, to document the incident and are considering further action. The father initially admitted he lost his temper, suspecting his 7th-grade daughter had taken savings for personal use without permission, which led him to lose control.

The girl has two siblings. Her parents divorced a few years ago, and she lives with her father and paternal grandparents in Tay Hieu ward, which was previously part of Thai Hoa town.

Four days ago, the father used a hard object to beat the girl, causing leg injuries. She was taken to Tay Bac Regional General Hospital for examination. After several days of treatment, the marks and bruises on her body are still visible. Following the incident, her maternal relatives requested to take her into their care.

"The child is still experiencing pain from her wounds, and her psychological state remains unstable," a Tay Hieu ward leader stated.
