On the evening of 15/9, Ea Kao ward police promptly intervened after receiving reports of numerous individuals carrying weapons and causing a disturbance at the intersection of Phung Hung street and Vanh Dai 30/4. Police brought 26 individuals to the station for questioning, seizing various dangerous weapons including slingshots, pig-sticking knives, machetes, and iron pipes.

Initial statements confirmed the confrontation stemmed from a dispute between two groups: the "Chi Lang" group, with 14 members from Thanh Nhat ward, and the "Sam Bram" group, comprising 12 members from Ea Kao ward. The groups had exchanged messages, insults, and challenges on Facebook, agreeing to meet at the specified location to resolve their conflict.

On 23/9, Ea Kao ward police are consolidating their records to prosecute 19 teenagers and 7 middle school students for disturbing public order.
