Bodycam footage captured the moment a South Wales police officer signaled a woman driving a red car to stop. Without hesitation, she responded, "Then get in", offering a ride in her Nissan Micra. The officer quickly explained his need to apprehend 25-year-old Jacob Roberts, a suspect in drug possession.

Moments earlier, Roberts had been driving at 50 km/h through a residential area in South Wales. Spotting police pursuit, he swerved onto the sidewalk, colliding with other vehicles in an attempt to escape.

With the civilian driver's swift assistance, the officer successfully caught and apprehended Jacob Roberts. On 16/9, Roberts pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including dangerous driving and drug possession. He was sentenced to 14 months in prison and received a driving ban of 3 years and 7 months.

South Wales Police extended their gratitude to the brave female driver, expressing relief that no one sustained serious injuries during the high-speed chase. The incident garnered significant public attention, with many commending the driver's courage.
