I started working as a security guard at a public school in 2/2009 and have been paid according to the State's salary scheme, with full social insurance contributions. I am expected to reach retirement age in 4/2026, at which point I will have completed 17 years of compulsory social insurance contributions.
I understand that to receive a pension, employees must have at least 20 years of social insurance contributions. However, I recently heard that the amended Social Insurance Law may allow employees to retire with 15 years of contributions instead of 20.
Do I qualify for a pension in my situation? If so, how will my pension be calculated? If not, what do I need to do to ensure my entitlements? I look forward to specific advice.
