Do elderly couples renting out five rooms need to pay taxes?

My spouse and I are nearing 70 and rent out five rooms behind our house. Do we need to pay taxes on this income?

Years ago, we built five rental rooms on our property, generating over 10 million VND monthly. This income, along with our pensions and support from our children, sustains us.

Being older, we haven't kept up with new regulations. We recently heard from neighbors that rental income is taxable.

Do we need to pay taxes? If so, where do we pay them?
