The husband is currently in custody in Nghe An province following the incident on 14/7. His identity has not been released.

The dispute began around 5 PM on 14/7 at the couple's home in Thanh Vinh ward.

Authorities report that the man went inside and disabled the security cameras before attacking his wife with a knife. The victim collapsed at the scene and was rushed to the hospital. She is now reported to be in stable condition.

Police in Thanh Vinh ward apprehended the man at the scene.
