Emely Martinez, 35, of Pinellas County, Florida, was arrested on 29/8 and charged with fraud and practicing dentistry without a license, both felonies, Fox News reported.
Prosecutors say Martinez presented herself as a "smile enhancement specialist" on social media, luring clients with promises of full-set veneers at extremely low prices, significantly undercutting licensed dental clinics.
While a single veneer typically costs $900-$1,500 at a licensed clinic, Martinez charged only $2,500-$3,000 for a full set, promising they would last five to seven years.

Many people, drawn by Martinez's low prices, suffered severe tooth damage, infections, and pain. Several victims reported needing emergency dental procedures and surgery after filing complaints with the police.
Many clients said they were unaware that Martinez was unlicensed and sought her services because of the low cost.
Clients also accused Martinez of ignoring their complaints about complications. In one instance, when confronted about her lack of a license, she reportedly responded defiantly, "I don't care".
Police confirmed Martinez had no dental training or license. However, on Facebook, she advertised a range of services including teeth whitening, tooth replacements, "non-surgical" lip fillers, and children's teeth whitening.
In many cases, Martinez used Krazy Glue, a type of super glue, to attach veneers to her victims' teeth. Experts warn that this type of adhesive can expand and generate heat, affecting nerves, and is therefore unsuitable for use in the mouth.
Martinez had previously been arrested in another county on similar charges of practicing dentistry without a license. According to police, she changed her name and business name to continue operating in different areas.
