Caught stealing, 26-year-old Thai Van Binh An held a homeowner's daughter at knifepoint, demanding money before being apprehended.

Dong Thap police arrested Thai Van Binh An, 26, on 4/9 on charges of robbery. An, with three prior convictions for theft and robbery, had been released from prison just five days before the incident.

On the evening of 31/8, An broke into a neighbor's house and was discovered by the homeowner's two daughters, aged 20 and 25. Instead of fleeing, he threatened them with a knife and demanded money.

When they refused, he injured both women's legs. The homeowner, Mr. Moi, intervened and struggled with An, who stabbed him. Despite his injury, Mr. Moi subdued An until the police arrived.
