Dannah Battino, 28, joined the New York Police Department (NYPD) in 4/2025 and is stationed at a precinct in Elmhurst, Queens. A former emergency medical technician for the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), she is currently serving a two-year probationary period, standard for new officers. The discovery of dozens of provocative photos on her OnlyFans account quickly led to criticism from colleagues, with some demanding her immediate dismissal. Battino has since deleted her personal page after the images began circulating within the police force.
“There is no place for such conduct in this department. We are a paramilitary force and must adhere to certain standards to be police officers,” an NYPD source stated. The officer reportedly created her OnlyFans account before joining the NYPD. While some OnlyFans models earn thousands of USD weekly through user-paid subscriptions and tips, the starting salary for an NYPD rookie officer is 60,884 USD annually. All applicants to the force must declare all sources of income.
It remains unclear how much Battino earned on the OnlyFans platform. Failure to disclose all income sources is sufficient grounds for contract termination. The situation has prompted questions regarding the NYPD’s rigorous applicant background check, which includes thorough social media and criminal history reviews. “If we found it, why didn't the investigators? She should have been disqualified immediately for that,” an NYPD officer commented, expressing concerns about the oversight.

As Battino is still in her probationary period, she could face dismissal for conduct deemed inappropriate for an officer, specifically regarding indecent exposure. However, the police union has defended Battino, emphasizing that she did not break any laws. According to the union, if Battino did nothing illegal or impacting her ability to perform duties, it is a private matter, and her personal information should not be exposed publicly.
The NYPD stated that Battino’s conduct is under “internal review.” This incident recalls a similar case in 2022, when a rookie female officer in Detroit was suspended and later resigned following an investigation into her OnlyFans account, which also featured explicit content.
