Hanoi resident fined for AI-generated image of traffic violation

A Facebook user was fined for posting an AI-generated image depicting a young man standing next to a supercar parked illegally, with a traffic officer issuing a ticket.

During questioning, the individual admitted to understanding that posting the false image was illegal and could disrupt public order.

This incident is not isolated. In recent days, social media has been flooded with AI-generated images depicting individuals posing next to supercars parked illegally, with traffic officers issuing tickets. These fabricated images have led to misunderstandings, creating the false impression of "tycoons" caught in traffic violations.

Hanoi's Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention advises social media users to strictly adhere to legal regulations and refrain from misusing AI to post illicit content that could disrupt public order. Violators will face severe consequences.
