According to the investigation, on the afternoon of 10/8, Tu rode his motorbike past the Phu Loc Village Cultural House in Krong Nang commune, noticing a wedding reception underway. He entered the premises and spotted an SH scooter with its ignition not fully turned off and the digital dashboard still lit, prompting him to steal.

Tu opened the scooter's compartment, taking a plastic bag containing 80 million dong and a wallet with 34,000 dong along with personal identification documents. He transferred the money to his own scooter's compartment before returning home.

He later hid the stolen money in an abandoned house in Tan Loc village, Dlie Ya commune. Police subsequently arrested Tu and recovered all the stolen money.
