Murder in a park in Phan Thiet

A young man was fatally stabbed by two strangers while sitting in a park by the Ca Ty river in Phan Thiet ward at dawn.

An 18-year-old man was found murdered in a park in Phan Thiet ward early this morning, 26/1. Lam Dong Provincial Police completed their scene investigation, interviewed involved individuals, and are actively searching for the two culprits who fled the scene.

According to initial information, shortly after midnight today, the 18-year-old man, a resident of Hong Son commune, was with three friends in the park on Trung Trac street, adjacent to the Ca Ty river. A short while later, two strangers approached them, an argument ensued, and they then attacked the group.

The 18-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times and collapsed. The two assailants immediately fled the scene.

Although residents rushed him to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, the young man did not survive his injuries.
