Two days ago, 100 officers and soldiers from the Quang Tri Provincial Police, Hanoi City Police, and Ninh Binh Provincial Police participated in dismantling this network.

Three individuals were summoned in connection with the case: Nguyen Van Chung, 33, residing in Ninh Binh province; and Pham Thi Tuyet, 31, and Le Huu Minh, 33, both residing in Hanoi. Initial statements confirmed that Tuyet imported various fake cosmetics manufactured in China through a foreign national living at the Mong Cai border gate.

Subsequently, Tuyet advertised these fake cosmetics for sale at low prices on Facebook. Chung, after purchasing items from Tuyet, created multiple accounts on e-commerce platforms to list them for sale.

During searches of the residences of Chung, Tuyet, and Le Huu Minh, and associated warehouses, police confiscated over 25 tons of various cosmetic products with unclear origins.

The case is currently under expanded investigation.
