Three days after the arrest of 44-year-old Y "Eng", Thanh Hoa Provincial Police announced the detention of Trinh Tuan Anh (Anh "Trac"), 49; Dao Duy Dung (Dung "Ca Mau"), 32; Tran Van Cuong (Cuong "Trang"), 29; Le Duc Anh, 43; Le Dang Trung (Trung "Do"); Nguyen Quoc Dong (Dong "Ta"), 43; and Bui Khac Phan, 37, all from Thanh Hoa province, during a recent crackdown.
All are known gang members with prior convictions for assault, unlawful detention, gambling, organizing gambling, and public disorder.

Authorities allege this dangerous group operated under the guise of a business, with limited legitimate commercial activity, but deeply involved in land auctions and construction bidding. Under Y's leadership, his associates allegedly threatened and attacked rivals to secure bids.
Three days ago, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police searched Y's home on Quang Trung street, Hac Thanh ward, also the location of "Dat Y" real estate, a company founded by Y.

Y "Eng" is the younger brother of Bui Quoc Dat (Dat "Ma"), a notorious Thanh Hoa gang leader currently serving a prison sentence.
Dat, Y, and other gangs led by Tuan "Than Den" and Vi "Ngo" controlled different territories and were considered leading figures in Thanh Hoa's underworld for years. All have been arrested.
Provincial police announced a large-scale operation to crack down on organized crime.
