On 25/4, Quang Ninh Provincial Police announced the arrest of Cu Van An, a Ninh Binh resident, in coordination with Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, for intentional injury.
Initial investigations revealed that since early 2025, An had been a worker at the Aeon Mall Ha Long construction site in Bai Chay ward. During his employment, he developed a severe conflict with a 35-year-old colleague from Phu Tho.
To carry out his revenge, An proactively resigned from his job. Around 11:00 on 24/4, knowing his colleague was at their rental room, he brought a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times before taking a vehicle and fleeing Quang Ninh province. The victim collapsed at the scene with severe injuries.
