The incident occurred at 6:30 PM on 11/12 at Van Thanh medical station in Dai Lanh commune. The suspect, wearing a long-sleeved sports shirt, shorts, a baseball cap, and a face mask, was carrying a knife.

Security camera footage shows the suspect entering the medical station, asking to buy fever medicine. At the time, only a 29-year-old female medical staff member was on duty. He then grabbed the female staff member by the collar, pulled a knife from his pants pocket, threatened her, and demanded 5 million VND. The woman screamed, pleaded, and struggled for over 20 seconds.

Shortly after, the robber forced the female staff member to transfer 500,000 VND to an account before leaving the scene.

Dai Lanh Communal Police are currently searching for the suspect and urging residents to report any sightings immediately to the investigative agency. They also called on the robber to surrender soon to be considered for mitigating circumstances.
