On 8/7, Tu Liem ward police reported that a 53-year-old woman, residing in Son Dong commune, was fined for illegally occupying the sidewalk on Pham Hung street for business purposes.

Earlier, a video circulated on social media showing a woman with a suitcase standing on the sidewalk of Pham Hung street, across from My Dinh Bus Station, waiting for transportation. The tea seller then approached her and told her to leave, saying it was her "selling spot".

When the woman refused to move, the tea seller kicked her suitcase.

After investigating, Tu Liem ward police stated the 53-year-old woman had "taken advantage of the absence of patrolling police" to occupy the sidewalk in front of 36 Pham Hung, selling tea since the afternoon of 4/7.
