Police in Can Dang commune detained Tuan on 12/7 on suspicion of motorbike theft. Tuan has three prior convictions for theft and was released from prison three months ago.

Investigations revealed that on 10/7, Tuan rode his motorbike to a residential area in Can Dang commune looking for an opportunity to steal. He saw a Honda Sonic motorbike (worth over 50 million VND) parked on the sidewalk and decided to steal it.

Tuan abandoned his old motorbike and broke the lock of the Sonic. After a two-hour search, police apprehended Tuan while he was on his way to sell the stolen vehicle.
